von Carlow auf der R725 nach Tullow; hinter der Brücke sofort rechts, an der Schule vorbei ca. 2km weiter rechts auf der Anhöhe stehen die Steine; von der Straße aus zu sehen
take the R725 from Carlow to Tullow, after you have passed the bridge keep immediately right, pass the school and go on for a bit more than a mile; the stones stand uphill to your right, visible from the road
man kann hier eigentlich nicht parken und darf es wohl auch nicht, man muss wieder einmal Privatgelände ohne Genehmigung betreten und auch wieder die Bullen im Auge behalten. Aber es lohnt sich, zu den Steinen hinauf zu wandern. Einer der beiden Steine mit einer Höhe von rund 1,70m trägt eine noch sehr gut erhaltene Ogham(?)-Inschrift (Bild 3)
neither you can park your car safely nor is it allowed, also you have to trespass again to access private land and beware of the bull! But its worth to walk uphill to the stones, each about 5,57ft in height. One of them bears a very well preserved Ogham(?) inscription (image 3).
