diese schöne Kapelle ist eine der besterhaltenen und unveränderten mittelalterlichen Kirchen Schottlands, wurde 1446 erbaut und um 1500 umfangreich restauriert. Die kleine Kirche wurde als Privatkapelle von der Familie Murray erbaut zugunsten der Grafen und Herzoge von Atholl. Der älteste Sohn des Herzogs von Atholl trug stets den Titel "Marquis von Tullibardine". Die Kapelle mit ihrem kreuzförmigem Grundriss wird heute nicht mehr als Gotteshaus genutzt, aber ich erfuhr, dass man dieses romantische Gebäude zu Hochzeitsfeiern mieten kann.
this fine chapel is one of the most complete and unaltered medieval churches in Scotland, dating from 1446 and extensively restored ca. 1.500 AD. This small church was built as a private chapel by the Murray family for the Earls and Dukes of Atholl. The eldest son to the Duke of Atholl was given the title "Marquis of Tullibardine". The cross-shaped chapel is out of use now but well preserved and bears much of the original architectural details. I was told, that sometimes wedding-ceremonies are held at this wonderful place.
